How to create a compelling and memorable reel!

In the realm of Digital Marketing in 2024, storytelling plays a pivotal role in striking a delicate balance between catering to trends and engaging your built-in audience. Reels are a great way to achieve this balance.

First, storyboard it!

Plan your story before working with images and copy. Create a beginning, middle, and end. Your OG audience wants to connect with you more deeply, and your potential audience needs this type of storytelling to get to know your brand better. Storyboarding is essential. 

Once you have the outline, start layering the story with a mix of still images, short and long forms, and get creative with loops. Sometimes templates are great; other times, it's best to put them together manually for a fresh look.

What's most important is to use your unique point of view. If you are working with an agency or a marketing team, collaborate with them to help craft your unique storytelling perspective. 

Lastly, find the perfect song or sound—perhaps a trending song or music—that makes the reel fun and engaging!
